single FAMILY TOWNHOUSE RENOVATION
This project was for the gut renovation of an existing a 1800 square foot brick townhouse in Brooklyn New York. The design focused on keeping the original character and charm of the early 1900's two story brick townhouse while opening up and modernizing the living spaces. The design includes a new central curved stairway with a central skylight, 2-1/2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, new kitchen and dining and new finishes throughout. The facades were restored back to the original configuration which had been covered over the years by siding and awnings. New modern double and triple glazed windows and doors were added and new plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems were installed.
